The ECO NANO is the latest pod system by VAPORESSO, one of the best companies in vaping for a long time now—and one that seems to only get better over time. The ECO NANO is a pod system that goes back to the basics with no fancy modes or functions. It is named ‘ECO” likely because it’s meant to be a replacement for disposable vapes, which have risen in popularity but create a lot of waste and are more expensive over time. The device has an internal battery that’s listed at 1000 mAh and comes with pods that have a whopping 6 mL capacity.

Build quality and design
The ECO NANO is a tiny square pod system that is very easy to pocket. Reminds me quite a bit of the Mi-pod and isn’t much larger; however, the ECO NANO has a larger capacity than any other pod I’ve personally come across (6 mL).
Color options are plentiful and kinda wild on the ECO NANO, with a whopping 14 options. Three basic solid colors, seven options that are two tones fading into each other, and finally four that have some kind of graffiti design on them.
The body of the device features one solid piece of good-quality plastic. Feels pretty sturdy. The outside of the unit I received is soft to the touch with a clear rubberized coating, but note that not all options come with a soft coating. I’m not sure about the graffiti-styled ones, but other than those, the options with a soft coating are midnight black, ivory white, and foggy blue. The seven gradient options seem to be metallic.
There are no buttons on the device at all; it’s inhale-to-fire. The top 20% of the device is the pod itself which is tinted. I normally prefer clear, but the pod is so large that it’s easy to see the juice level, so I’ll let it slide this time. At the bottom of the front is a small LED, which is supposed to be a battery meter but is more of a charging meter (more on that later.) All in all, it’s a basic but well-made device meant to mimic a disposable.
Getting started
The ECO NANO is a pretty typical pod system that’s ideal for beginners or someone wanting something portable and convenient on the go. No buttons, no on or off, no settings. Just inhale when you want to vape and pocket it when you are on the go.
Filling the pod is basic. The pod itself is magnetic and comes in and out very easily. It’s not tight in there but the magnets hold it in place well with no wiggle.
There is a black rubber plug on the bottom of the pod that you remove to expose the fill hole. On the bottom, you’ll also find an easy-to-read print that tells you which coil is in the pod.
Overall, the usage is perfect for first-time vapers looking to quit smoking, or someone who wants something small that doesn't make a lot of vapor to get through the day.
Performance
I’ll start by saying that I'm glad I got to review this. Not many reviewers use disposables. With all the stuff we get sent to try and purchases we make (which is usually specific higher-end stuff,) a disposable just doesn't make sense. I, however, have quite a bit of experience with them because I have a lot of friends who buy them. So I've tried many of them and know how they perform, which makes comparisons easier.
There is only one pod available for the ECO NANO now (a 0.8-ohm mesh coil one,) but the site lists a 1.2-ohm pod coming soon. First off, the coil performance on the ECO is fantastic. I didn’t count the puffs to test their 13k puff claim, but I did vape 30 mL easily through the coil and it was still going strong, so the life is fantastic. The draw itself is a solid MTL with no adjustments possible. Flavor compared to disposables is also top tier. And don’t get me wrong, I've tried some disposables that were surprisingly good, but also had some that seem overpowered on the koolada/menthol, which ruins the flavor. Having complete control of your flavor is much nicer than being locked in.
Anyway, on its own the ECO stands strong as a top-tier pod performer. But comparing it to disposables, I wanted to look at it from a price standpoint. As of today, the ECO is listed by VAPORESSO at $16.90 with one pod. Disposables online run around $15-20. Typically bottles of juice online run about $15 for 30 mL, so for a little over 30 bucks you’ll outlast two disposables and then you’ll only need replacement pods and juice. Their site lists 60% cheaper over time; I can’t really verify that for sure, but I will say it is cheaper by a good amount. And don’t forget the fact that disposables create tons of battery waste that just isn’t necessary. So, as a standalone product, as well as compared to disposables, it’s a great device.
Battery life and charging
The ECO NANO is easily an all-day vape for pretty much anyone with its battery size and large juice capacity. It comes with an internal battery listed at 1000 mAh and the charge rate is listed at 1A.
I tested all this and for max charge rate I got 1.1A, so excellent rating and it held pretty steady between 1-1.1A. I got a little under 60 minutes for charge time, so it's really good there as well. Most pods charge in 30-60 mins depending on the battery size so the charge rate here is excellent.
For battery size, I got a usable 980 mAh which is on point for the rating. Most devices are rated about 20% higher than you actually get, so I expected around 800 mAh but got pretty much the advertised 1000 mAh. It does have passthrough vaping as well.
The LED on the bottom is listed as the battery meter, but it’s really not. It’s only white. It stays white if it still has a charge and flashes white three times when dead, so sadly it dies without warning. I wish they would have put an actual meter but I understand that the point was to be inexpensive to be an alternative to disposables. Still, I'll have to ding them for that.

Overall, VAPORESSO made a great disposable replacement here and just an excellent pod for an all-day vape. I have a few minor gripes (mainly the battery meter,) but with such an excellent coil, large pod capacity, and excellent battery life, it’s a winner. It’ll last anyone at least a full day, so just charge it every night at bedtime and it’ll be fine. If you use disposables, this is a great alternative to save money and create less waste. Also, a great alternative for an all-day vape pod compared to the 2-3 mL 600 mAh pods out there.
