Best Geek Bar Flavors 2026

The best Geek Bar Pulse and Pulse X flavors, according to our team's testing.

Geek Bar Pulse Mexico Mango

Mexico Mango captures the flavor of a mango puree. This is beyond the "essence" of a fruit; it's as if Geek Vape used actual mango puree for the e-liquid. It's only minimally cool, but the throat hit is nice and full, which nicely caps off the intense flavor experience. If you enjoy sweet fruit flavors, this is a must-try.

After draining numerous Geek Bar disposable vapes, we compiled our reactions and experiences together to come to a consensus on the two main Pulse lines. After the vapor settled, the standout flavors for us were the fruit and candy mixes. That said, the flavor production from these devices is remarkable regardless of our views on specific flavors.

This list outlines our favorite and most highly rated flavors from the Geek Bar Pulse and Pulse X. Our guide will help you learn more about those devices.

What is a Geek Bar?

Geek Bar is the name of one of the most popular lines of disposable vapes on the market. Made by Geekvape, Geek Bar is the name of the disposable line of devices offered by the vape juggernaut. Currently there are over ten different disposable vapes under the name Geek Bar, like the Pulse Series (Patriot, Pulse, and Pulse X), Geek Bar Skyview, and the Geek Bar Wondar, to name a few.

What’s most important to understand here is that when vapers say “Geek Bar,” chances are that they’re referring to the Geek Bar Pulse, which is the hottest seller of the Geek Bar line. It’s similar to the BC5000, which became known as the “Elf Bar” even though there were many Elf Bar models on the market.

Geek Bar Pulse Mexico Mango

5

Mexico Mango captures the flavor of a mango puree. This is beyond the "essence" of a fruit; it's as if Geek Vape used actual mango puree for the e-liquid. It's only minimally cool, but the throat hit is nice and full, which nicely caps off the intense flavor experience. If you enjoy sweet fruit flavors, this is a must-try.

Geek Bar Pulse Frozen Pina Colada

4.5

Frozen Pina Colada brings together the beloved flavors of pineapple and coconut with an icy finish, to perfectly replicate the adult drink in the form of vapor. It has a sweet and tangy flavor that's both cream and cold. If you're a fan of the drink or of icy flavors, this one is sure to hit the spot.

Expand

Geek Bar Pulse Juicy Peach Ice

4.5

The name says it all: sweet and juicy peaches with a strong icy finish. The taste of the peach is natural but amplified beyond the subtlety of peaches. The flavor is concentrated and accurate instead of loud and candy-like. Fans of peach flavors need to try this one.

Expand

Geek Bar Pulse Fcuking Fab

4.5

Fcuking Fab is an exciting and intoxicating blend of exotic and juicy flavors that will keep you guessing. It's hard to describe and even harder to put down. The complex blend works to bring a singular flavor that is only to be found in the Geek Bar. It's mostly sweet, with some tart notes, underpinned with a medium level of coolness.

Expand

Geek Bar Pulse Meta Moon

4.5

Another complex and invigorating blend of fruits. Meta Moon contains notes of succulent mango mixed with a bright and sweet taste of ripe pineapple. This mix of sweet fruits is balanced out with a hint of tart lime, creating a flavor of its own. Like Fcuking Fab, this flavor is only to be found in the Geek Bar.

Expand

Geek Bar Pulse OMG Blow Pop

4

Sweet and creamy, the blow pop flavor in the Geek Bar is better tasting than the real thing. While the bubble gum sucker was the inspiration for this flavor, the result is a more complex, dessert-style cream candy than the simple lollipop. There's a subtle amount of cooling that doesn't detract from the flavor mix.

Expand

Geek Bar Pulse Strawberry Mango

4

A sweet and delightful mix of a lightly cool mango and strawberry. Fans of Mexico Mango should know that the mango in here is not as strong. This flavor is more strawberry-forward, with the mango providing more aromatic notes. Think of this as a strawberry flavor that got elevated with the addition of mango.

What is the Geek Bar Pulse X?

Despite the Pulse's strong reception, Geekvape didn’t rest on its laurels. The Pulse got upgraded into a new device branded "Pulse X." It features enhanced flavor output capable of retaining its clarity for longer, plus a larger capacity battery and e-liquid reservoir. Also of note, the Pulse X carries with it a different menu.

Geek Bar Pulse X Watermelon Ice

5

An elevated version of a popular vape flavor. Watermelon ice is normally an ephemeral flavor, but like most other flavors in the Geek Bar line, this flavor is bold. The watermelon flavor still maintains the sweet brightness that you’re used to but with more oomph.

Geek Bar Pulse X Banana Taffy Freeze

4.5

The unmistakable flavor of candy banana and the juicy chew of taffy. It comes with a strong blast of icy notes, which is sure to please menthol vapers. If you’re new to icy vapes, this is a good one to start with.

Expand

Geek Bar Pulse X Blue Razz Ice

4.5

The most popular flavor in all disposables is easily blue razz ice. For this version, Geekvape kept the approach to the recipe as other disposables, while letting the strong performance of the Pulse catapult this blue razz ice into something noteworthy. It’s what you’re used to, but better.

Geek Bar Pulse vs. Geek Bar Pulse X

If the Pulse is on your radar, then the Pulse X is sure to spark your interest. But what are the differences between them? Are they two different devices, or do they just look slightly different? Is there a difference in performance?

First off, both devices are fantastic performers and with your eyes closed, they’d feel practically the same in the hand. The Pulse is X is slightly larger with a bit of extra weight, due to a larger eliquid and battery capacity.

Of course, the Pulse is the original and will have more people swear by it. The Pulse X keeps the same body styling, resembling a space-age pod of some sort. They both have rubberized, bite-friendly mouthpieces and feature the Geekvape original “smart” screen that gives a digital readout of the battery and liquid capacity. Also, both the Pulse and the Pulse X have two vaping modes, regular and Pulse mode—another innovation commonplace now in disposables that started with the Pulse.

Build quality and design

The design and build quality of the Pulse and the Pulse X are practically the same. They have the same materials and very similar design philosophy. They both feature that 3D-printed curved screen that helps give the Pulse that unique look and form factor.

Where they differ is in the aesthetics. The Pulse X lights up with a pulsing and sparkling constellation of lights that practically breathes with you on the inhale. It’s clever form of lightshow that’s worlds away from the glowing light on the end of a cigarette-style e-cig.

Both the Pulse and the Pulse X have a single-switch form of power adjustment. Built inside that switch there are two airflow adjustments that tighten the draw in regular power mode and open it up in Pulse mode.

Let’s take a closer look at the specs.

Geek Bar Pulse specifications

  • Dimensions:  22.7 mm X 52.6 mm X 82.6 mm
  • Battery: 650 mAh
  • E-liquid capacity: 16.0 mL
  • Puff count: About 15k in regular mode and 7.5k in Pulse mode
  • Screen: Full LED with battery and liquid indicators
  • Button: Single switch power adjustment (with built-in airflow control)
  • Charging: USB-C
  • Coil: Dual Core & Dual Mesh Coil

Geek Bar Pulse X specifications

  • Dimensions: 28.5 mm X 57.6 mm  X 91.7 mm
  • Battery: 820 mAh
  • E-liquid capacity: 18.0 mL
  • Puff count: About 25k puffs in regular mode and 15k in Pulse mode
  • Screen: Full LED with battery and liquid indicators
  • Button: Single switch power adjustment (with built-in airflow control)
  • Lightshow: Brighter lights and a starry screen
  • Charging: USB-C with quick charge
  • Coil: Dual Core & Dual Mesh Coil

Performance and flavor

Performance-wise, both the Geek Bar Pulse and Pulse X are strong performers. In the Pulse X, Geekvape has updated the dual mesh coils and tweaked the tuning of the power output so that even when the battery gets low, the coils still perform without drop-off. There has been some feedback with the original Pulse that the outstanding flavor fades as the battery drains.

The overall performance of the Pulse X wins. Throw in a quick charge that can get your battery up to 80% charged in 20 minutes, and the Pulse X has almost everything you could ask for. It has more battery life, greater eliquid capacity, and it puts out more consistent flavor. As mentioned, the one thing that the Pulse X does not have going for it is a better menu.

How to use a Geek Bar Pulse

Getting started with your Geek Bar Pulse is straightforward. They both have automatic draw, so there are no buttons to press to take a vape. The one adjustment is the power switch. Here’s what you need to know.

Getting started

  • Locate the little switch at the bottom of the Geek Bar Pulse.
  • Slide the switch to move from the off position to regular mode.
  • If you want to pump up the power, push it one more space and you’ll be in Pulse mode.
  • That’s it. Take a hit when ready.

  • Screen can be turned on by switching between modes as well.

  • Pulse Mode: Loose MTL-restricted lung hit

How many puffs does a Geek Bar have?

Due to having two vaping modes, the Geek Bar Pulse was the first disposable to have two different puff counts. As if puff counts weren’t already a headache for customers! Now there are two ratings per device, whenever there’s an extra power mode. This is because the extra power delivered to the coils reduces the liquid faster on the same number of puffs. Think about it like driving fast to get to a destination. You’ll travel the same distance, but one way uses more fuel.

When it comes to puff counts, the Geek Bar Pulse X wins. Check out the details.

Battery and puff ratings (Pulse)

Battery

  • 650 mAh
  • USB-C
  • Quick charge can get battery up to 80% in 20 minutes

Regular mode

  • Puff rating of about 15000
  • More efficient for longer device life

Pulse mode

  • Puts out about 20 watts
  • Puff rating of 7500
  • Consumes battery and juice quickly

Battery and puff ratings (Pulse X)

Battery

  • 820 mAh
  • USB-C
  • Quick charge can get battery up to 80% in 20 minutes

Regular mode

  • Puff rating of about 25000
  • Better lifespan to liquid and battery
  • Tighter draw and lower power

Pulse mode

  • Puts out about 20 watts (more power than the regular mode)
  • Puff rating of 15000 (more power cuts down puffs quantity)
  • Stronger flavor output and more vapor

Is the Geek Bar really 15k puffs?

Counting this many puffs is practically impossible, but we did design a small experiment to test the e-liquid content claims of the Geek Bar. For science!

We weighed a couple of Geek Bars before starting to vape on them (they came out at 80.2 and 80.9 grams) and then again when they were empty (70.4 and 71.1 grams, respectively.) We kept vaping even after the e-liquid meter went to zero, up to the point where we started feeling a dry puff coming.

Doing some simple calculations, and considering that the e-liquid used is 50VG/50PG, it turns out that the Geek Bar Pulse contains approximately 8.5-9 mL of juice.

We'll give them the benefit of the doubt and call it an even 10 mL. Unfortunately, that's much less than the stated 16 mL. Our guess: the chamber's volume is measured at 16 mL, but they don't deduct the volume of the wicking material (the sponge-like material that absorbs the juice.) For what it's worth, we are confident that many (if not most) companies are using similar methods, resulting in inflated e-liquid capacity numbers.

What is Pulse mode on Geek Bar?

As mentioned, the Pulse mode on the Geek Bar provides extra power. It’s also extra airflow, because Pulse mode is activated by moving the airflow switch to a slightly more open position.

When in Pulse mode, the output is set at approximately 20 watts in both the Pulse and the Pulse X. Remember that you need to activate Pulse mode when you want more flavor, vapor, and more warmth to the vape. Geekvape introduced this innovation to the disposable vape world with the Pulse. Now, it’s becoming about as commonplace as Blue Razz.

How much nicotine is in a Geek Bar Pulse?

Like practically every other disposable available in the U.S., the Pulse and the Pulse X use a standard nicotine concentration of 5%. Another way you may see the amount written is "50 mg/mL." An important thing to know is that although one sounds much higher than the other, they both represent the same thing.

The type of nicotine used in the Pulse and Pulse X is nicotine salt. No, it’s not salt like table salt. It’s a form of nicotine that's less harsh to the throat, so the user can consume a higher concentration, which theoretically leads to quicker satisfaction. The vast majority of pre-filled vapes worldwide use nicotine salt.

How much is a Geek Bar?

Unfortunately, there’s only a range. The price can change depending on the shop you buy from or even how long the device has been on the market. For instance, now that newer models are hitting stores, their price range is likely to fluctuate upward, while the Pulse and Pulse X will likely be found with better deals.

Currently, the Pulse ranges between $12-14. The Pulse X goes from $16 up to (and sometimes beyond) $20.

Can you refill a Geek Bar?

The Geek Bar is not supposed to be opened/refilled, and we strongly advise against using any kind of tool on your disposable. These devices contain lithium-ion batteries, and opening them is not a safe practice.

That said, we did open a Geek Bar Pulse, taking all the necessary precautions. It is possible to open by wiggling the mouthpiece using a pair of pliers, and it can technically be refilled this way—although the wicking material won't be in good enough condition to absorb much e-liquid, and flavor will probably be off.

Why is my Geek Bar Pulse flashing red?

Your Geek Bar is flashing red because the battery is drained and needs to be charged. Although it looks like the device is malfunctioning, it’s just a simple matter of the lithium-ion battery inside being depleted. To charge the Pulse, plug in a USB-C to the vape and charge it like you would any other small electronic device.
